The wait is over! The details for the NADJ AGM & Tradeshow are ready to be revealed to the public. The event will take place on Sunday 25th April 2010 at The Barn Function Centre in Gloucestershire. The NADJ has decided to move from the Motorcycle Museum to this purpose built conference and banqueting facility. The move from the Motorcycle Museum was deemed necessary because of the spiralling costs and level of service at the last show. A dedicated website for the NADJ AGM & Tradeshow is now live! It appears that a telemarketing company is actively going through the list of DJs on the ‘Find A DJ’ section of the NADJ website. The company in question, Match Maker Marketing, is well known by the Committee for scanning online directories for telephone numbers. Match Maker Marketing has NO association with the NADJ and we would like to stress that contact details have not been deliberately passed to this company – despite the claims by the telemarketers. |

False NADJ Membership Claims |

The National Association of Disc Jockeys has received a number of reports from members highlighting operators who are making false claims about being a member of the NADJ. Only bona fide members of the NADJ may use the logo and declare that they are a member of the Association on their promotional materials, stationery, website or to the public. If you feel that someone is making false claims about membership, please get in touch with us. Several DJs have been contacted recently with a request to remove references to the NADJ from their website after thorough checks have shown that they are not a member of the Association. The NADJ will actively pursue anyone who is making false claims about membership and using the NADJ logo when not entitled to do so. |

Sponsorship Opportunities |

The NADJ is going from strength to strength and we have some very exciting ideas and developments coming up in the near future. These include some fantastic new content ideas for the website, a totally new Newsletter which will be re-launched as a Magazine and will be free to all members, and a number of informative e-mail shots with special news and refviews. Negotiations for the 2010 AGM and Trade Show are going strong, afnd after this years slightly disappointing turn out we aim to make the next one the largest so far with a wide range of activities on the day and hopefully a few ideas to make it a great family day out as well as a DJ Meet! All of these cost money, and in order to raise funds we are offering a limited number of sponsorship opportunities to companies who fit in with the NADJ ethos and who support what we are trying to achieve.
