It appears that a telemarketing company is actively going through the list of DJs on the ‘Find A DJ’ section of the NADJ website.  The company in question, Match Maker Marketing, is well known by the Committee for scanning online directories for telephone numbers.

  Match Maker Marketing has NO association with the NADJ and we would like to stress that contact details have not been deliberately passed to this company – despite the claims by the telemarketers.

  An objection to Match Maker Marketing gleaning contact details from the ‘Find A DJ’ section of the site has been lodged with the company.

  All members are encouraged to register their home and business numbers with the Telephone Preference Service: www.tpsonline.org.uk

  Registering with this free service may cut down on the number of unsolicited telemarketing calls you receive.  However, if you have a direct relationship with a company, such as if you are a customer, that company will be permitted to contact you unless you raise an objection.
